About the classes
Tai Chi is often described as “meditation in motion,” a slow, flowing practice that’s kind to the body and calming for the mind. Qigong shares the same roots and the same spirit, using simple, gentle movements, breathing and focus to build and circulate your energy. Think of it as a natural energy boost without the caffeine!
Regular practice can help with:
- ✨ Balance, posture and coordination
- ✨ Flexibility and joint mobility
- ✨ Strength, especially in the legs and core
- ✨ Natural energy and vitality
- ✨ Stress, tension and sleep
- ✨ Focus and a sense of calm
It’s open to men and women of all ages and levels of ability. You don’t need any experience, special clothing or particular level of fitness. Movements can be adapted to suit you, and you can work at your own pace in a friendly, relaxed group.
Whether you’re completely new or have tried it before, you’ll be very welcome. The teacher is Chris Simpson and we welcome beginners.
